We started Audrie.com because we had each met homeowners driven to market their own homes to avoid real estate commissions. These "For Sale by Owner" folks make up 20% of all home sellers and in the real estate industry they are called "fsbo's" (pronounced fizzbo's).
We created a web site where we provided free instructions for "fsbo's" and paid for web hosting and Internet fees by selling real estate forms & contracts. Customers asked us to provide a printed version of the web site so we offered the Sellers Book which can be downloaded or mailed as a pre-printed book.
In 2004 we introduced a "for sale by owner" Internet advertising service when we could provide the service at a price that most homeowners could easily afford.
Finally, in 2005 we gave in to customer demand and found a way to offer a full FSBO package with a Yard sign, and eye-catching flyers that point to a Photo Tour of the home which we host until the house is sold.
Stocking the 18" X 24" Yard sign and finding a way to ship it with a metal stand was a challenge, but buyers of the FSBO package have been selling their homes within two weeks and that makes us happy.
Audrie is an Internet name originally used by Atlanta broker, Monet Farr, but now applied to the entire little staff of real estate professionals at Audrie.com Corporation.
We have helped thousands of people sell their own homes, and we hope we can help you. If we do, pass the word, tell a friend about audrie.com!
